CLUB B & BEYOND THE BELL

SESSION 1 REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Club B and Beyond the Bell are an important part of the after-school experience for so many families. Each session gives students the chance to try something new, return to a favorite activity, spend time with friends, and build connections with trusted adults. While youth are learning, playing, and having fun, parents and caregivers can have peace of mind knowing their kids are in a safe, supportive place where they are cared for, encouraged, and making great memories.

Give your child a place to belong, learn, grow, and have fun after the school day ends. At Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound, kids and teens have access to caring Club staff, enriching activities, meaningful connections with their peers, and opportunities to discover new interests and build confidence. From homework help and STEM to sports, arts, leadership, and hands-on experiences, there’s always something to look forward to at the Club. Exploring Nature at The Salmon Center

Club Members from North Mason Teen Center and Bremerton Boys & Girls Club recently visited The Salmon Center for an engaging day of learning and exploration.

Youth had the opportunity to learn more about the center, discover the plants and animals that call the area home, and connect with the environment around them. They also had plenty of fun interacting with the farm animals!

A big thank you to The Salmon Center for welcoming our Club Members and creating a hands-on experience that brought learning and the outdoors together.

Making Waves and Making Memories: Wilderness Adventure Camp

Club members from our Bremerton Club and North Mason Teen Center got out on the water for an awesome kayaking adventure with PNW Adventure & Tours. They had a blast exploring the water and even spotted Harbor Seals and their pups along the way!

Experiences like this give Club members the chance to get outdoors, try something new, build confidence, and create lasting memories.

Growing Through the Game

Our summer T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Baseball, and Softball season is in full swing! Club members have been hitting the field to build skills, practice teamwork, and grow their confidence through practices and games. From learning the fundamentals of the sport to cheering on teammates, youth are developing sportsmanship, building friendships, and creating lasting memories along the way. As the season wraps up soon, we’re celebrating the dedication, teamwork, and excitement our athletes have brought to the field all summer long.

Inspiring Future Innovators

A huge thank you to Boeing for supporting STEM programming at Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound! Through this partnership, Club members are exploring science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. From building exploding volcanoes to exploring robotics, youth are learning by doing and discovering the excitement of STEM. We’re grateful to Boeing for investing in our youth and helping inspire the next generation of innovators, creators, and leaders.

Science on Wheels

Club Members had an exciting learning experience through the Science on Wheels program with Pacific Science Center!

The program brought science directly to our Clubs, giving youth the opportunity to explore STEM concepts through interactive activities, demonstrations, and engaging experiments. It was a fun way for Club Members to ask questions, discover how science works, and see learning come to life.

Thank you to the Pacific Science Center for bringing Science on Wheels to our Clubs and helping inspire the next generation of curious thinkers and innovators!

Power Week at the Club

During TPU Academy’s Power Week, Club members get hands-on with STEM while learning about electrical systems from Tacoma Public Utilities employees. It’s an opportunity to explore how electricity works, ask questions, and connect with professionals in our community.

We’re grateful to TPU for bringing these engaging learning experiences to the Club and helping inspire the next generation of curious learners and future leaders!

Family Impact Story:

The Godding Family

Thanks to the generosity of Swire Coca-Cola and the Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026 Local Organizing Committee (SeattleFWC26), Boys & Girls Clubs in Washington received four tickets to a FIFA World Cup match.

We selected the Godding family to receive this opportunity because of their strong connection to our Club and their enthusiasm for sports. The children are active participants in our programs and leagues, and their family has remained engaged with the Club through a significant period of transition. Throughout it all, their father and grandmother have worked together to ensure the children continue to have opportunities to stay involved, build friendships, and enjoy the sports they love.

Powering Great Futures at TPU Academy

This summer, Club members in grades 3–5 discovered how the services we rely on every day help keep our communities running through TPU Academy, a six-week program made possible by our partnership with Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU). Led by TPU employees, members explored power, water, and rail through hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and real-world experiences while building new skills, asking big questions, and learning about future career opportunities. We’re grateful to Tacoma Public Utilities for investing in our youth!
